1.9 million people displaced from their homes
in north-east Nigeria - UNICEF, 2020

According to a publication on the official website of UNICEF Nigeria dated 05 May, 2020, it was revealed that, there are currently 1.9 million people displaced from their homes in north-east Nigeria, sixty percent of them being children, with 1 in 4 under the age of five. With displacement comes limited to no access to education.
